Just in time for Valentine's Day, Armani has created an irresistible chocolate for your indulgence.

Decorated with a tiny raised heart, this token of love is entirely encased in red chocolate and contains a divine filling of gianduia cream with crunchy pieces of hazelnut from Piedmont, known for its unmistakably subtle and rich flavor.

These sumptuous treats are available from mid-January until Valentine’s Day in all Armani locations. They can also be ordered for delivery to major international destinations.
Ever curious what the designer looks like? I am. I was thrilled to find a recent Italian Vanity Fair feature of him on style.it that included his picture.

I always prefer to see the designer. It's my game of "Does the Designer Look Like the Designs?". Some are (This is what I believe.) so caught up in the creative process that the designs and the models tend look like the designer. Examples include Rick Owens, Galliano, Donna Karan, Miuccia Prada and Vivienne Westwood.

Others are just as creative, but their look is almost a contradiction of their designs. The list of this type of creative genius includes Costello Tagliapietra, Alexander McQueen, Alber Elbaz, and at times, Marc Jacobs.

So does Mr. Blahnik look like his designs are a reflection of him? Yes. And Thanks! - My eyes pop open (It's been one of those days - long) whenever I look at the selection in the picture below.

I love the idea of living with art. Honestly, who can cover all of the art featured at a museum in a visit? It becomes overwhelming if you try cramming it all in.

Plus I just can't imagine not having some form of art in my home.
Whether it's a museum ad, like the MoMA image, a famous print, or perhaps a sculpture or other art form of an emerging artist.

I even hang accessories and clothing as an expression of art ... an extension of my decor. Surrounding myself with things I love is such a big part of my personality ... I am a daydreamer - often living in La La Land.

I've always loved the "before and after" makeovers. I'm particularly entranced with the "pull out all the stops" fantasy makeover like the bathroom below featured in Architectural Digest.

I think Cinderella and my father's interior design book started the whole fascination issue.

Who cared that it was fictional make believe. I loved the promise of happily ever after, and visualized how the "after" would look in the real world thanks to my dad's wonderful interior design book ... heavenly bliss that made you never want to leave home.

To date my motto is, "Vacations are nice, but who wants the tease of beauty for a mere few days. Why would you not want to live daily in beauty?"
